Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our Finance team. This role will play a key part in providing financial insights, forecasting, and analysis to support decision-making across our hospitality and tourism operations. The FP&A Analyst will work closely with senior leadership and operational managers to ensure financial performance aligns with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans. Prepare financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases for new projects and initiatives. Analyze monthly financial results and provide variance explanations to management. Partner with operational leaders to track performance metrics, KPIs, and guest experience drivers. Develop dashboards and reporting tools to provide timely and actionable insights. Identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency, and resource allocation. Assist in strategic planning, capital project evaluation, and investment analysis.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Must be a Canadian resident, preferably in BC or Alberta
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (CFA/CPA/MBA considered an asset).
2–4 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or a related role.
Hospitality, tourism, or real estate industry experience strongly preferred.
Strong financial modeling and Excel/Google Sheets skills; familiarity with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Adaptive Insights, etc.) an asset.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with both finance and operational teams in a fast-paced environment.
